When Robert Smithson built his most famous work Spiral Jetty, it was black and the water in the lake was blood red. Over time, due to the high salt concentration, the water became pink and the Spiral Jetty was white. Has the meaning of the work changed?

Observatory of the cake, sees the depths of the cosmos. But when the bird flying above her looks at her meeting, the telescope does not notice her. It is not possible to look into a black hole, it is an experience of the sublime.

When Claude Monet came to London and painted a fog, the townspeople ridiculed the artist, because the fog in "reality" is gray. But the artist was able to change the reality, and after a while the Englishmen admitted that the fog was pink. The view changes the object. Now this beautiful story is just a cultural sign, but only the signs of art are not material.
