Ivan Dubiaga is an artist and musician from Krasnodar, engaged in painting, graphics and exploring the boundaries of the intersection of music and sound art. The art of Dubiaga has a special handwriting, allowing instantly to recognize his manner among other contemporary artists.

The visual language of Dubiaga is extremely clean, the subjects are ironic. Bringing the investigated problem to the point of absurdity, Ivan takes it to the level of grotesque and ridicule. The world of artist's art is synthesized from emotional emptiness, where existential despair is reborn into an artificial reality.

In astrophysics there are concepts about black and white holes. In a black hole, matter falls, from the white, according to the hypothesis, is thrown out. A gray hole, a space object invented by Ivan Dubiaga, getting into which matter is doomed to perpetual stay in the inter-space. There is no return from this state. This speculative cosmic object became a metaphor for uncertainty and a non-constructive eternal compromise.

At the opening the gallery «Coat» (Alexander Petrelli) will present a separate small exhibition «Needs and pains». And also, guests will be able to see the author's performance and audio-animation installation. Everyone should be there!
