Martynka Wawrzyniak (born 1979) is a New York City-based editor, photographer, model and performance artist. Born in Poland, she moved to New Zealand at the age of eight, and as of 1998 lived in the East Village while working as an editor at Rizzoli. She cofounded Issue magazine, which she also edited from 1999 to 2004. In 2006, she was selected by as one of 30 emerging photographers to watch by Photo District News, a photographers' trade magazine. Her work has been published in New York magazine, Purple, Fast Company and The New Yorker, among others.

In November 2010, she contributed to "4 Sale", a collaboration of four female artists exploring conceptions of eroticism using themselves as the subjects. In a review of the show, Artinfo described Wawrzyniak as owing "an allegiance both to the vamping of pinup girls and straightforward commercial portraiture", and praised the project as a "serious, well-crafted, yet approachable work that isn't afraid to handle sexuality with a mix of humor, drama, and the occasional dash of mysticism". W magazine commented that Wawrzyniak "explores femininity with both brutality and warmth". "4 Sale" project was shown in Poland, USA(New York) and Russia (Moscow, in 25 Kadr Gallery).

Also Martynka's works was shown at the 54th Venice Biennale, Italy.

Elle Mullarchyk /NY

Elle Muliarchyk, born in Belarus, grew up in Vietnan and Czech Republic.

My road to photography and film started 5 years ago, when I was "exposed" and discovered by the New York Times - as a model I would practice "guerrilla modeling" in my spare time, and sneak into most expensive fashion boutiques all over the world, create elaborate setups inside the dressing rooms and take self-portraits wearing their most amazing garments. I'd often get kicked out or even arrested!" - Elle Muliarchyk

Elle's video "The Last Poet" inspired by Wim Wenders' Wings of Desire. "A lonely girl whose only friends and family in the world are books, is being watched over by a Guardian Angel who saves her from a disaster. It's also auto-biographical. When I was growing up in Belarus, many young lonely girls of all ages would commit suicides by jumping off the roof (always 9th floor!). And the mothers would try to develop in their daughters a phobia of heights, Mine would put me in a corner for hours at a time as a punishment if I came dangerously too close to one!" - Elle Muliarchyk

Video "Metamorphosis" inspired by Diane Von Furstenberg collections.

Elle's works was shown at Frieze Art Fair in 2007 and 2008, In New York and Moscow. Screening at Siki Im/NOWNESS/NEW/AGE exhibition at "BUILDING FASHION at HL23" NYC Also premiering on W Magazine Fashion Film sponsored by Dior.
